North Charleston Fire Education Museum

A 26,936 sq. ft. fire education center built to educate people of all ages on fire safety. The North Charleston and American LaFrance Fire Museum & Educational Center is a historical museum housing the American LaFrance fire truck collection. While the exterior design is reminiscent of traditional fire stations, the interior features high-tech lighting and interactive exhibits for children and adults that explain the history of fire fighting and the importance of fire prevention.
